Transport from Cape Town :

For an optional extra we can arrange for a shuttle to pick you up from Cape Town in the morning and drop you off after your diving.

Craig Ferreira invites you to join the White Shark Projects shark team and their passion to view and dive with the great white sharks - face to face.

White Shark Projects offers you the unique opportunity of viewing the great white Sharks, or diving with them in a cage. While out at sea, you will be educated in an informal environment, learning about the behavior of the great whites, their history and the urgent need for research.

Our 10-day expeditions are also run from our facility in Gansbaai and are open to students and members of the public alike. The expeditions have an educational focus while remaining light hearted and a whole lot of fun. The participants are looked upon as part of our crew and we like to see as much involvement as possible from them. During the expedition several lectures will be given covering areas such as white shark biology, conservation and behavior. Accommodation and all meals are included as well as educational material, transfers, dive equipment and lectures.

The student educational programs and expeditions are run from our facilities in Gansbaai 187 km from Cape Town. The duration of the SEP is 14 days. It comprises of a number of interesting lectures with subjects relating to the great white shark, it also includes a lecture on basic seamanship. The students will be spending a lot of time out at sea (weather permitting) working with the white shark in its natural environment under the guidance of our highly qualified and experienced crew. Accommodation and all meals are included.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a Videographer on the boat for each trip and you will have the opportunity of buying a DVD of the day following your trip.
